Speakers for Utah Breakfast Club Lunch on May 14 to Address Utah-Specific Medicaid Expansion

SALT LAKE CITY, April 29, 2015 - When Utah Gov. Gary Herbert met with President Obama nearly a month ago, during the President's visit to Utah, Herbert spent his 30-minute conversation with him highlighting three important priorities: A Utah-specific approach to Medicaid expansion, the Public Lands Initiative, and federal government payments in lieu of taxes.

At the Utah Breakfast Club, we're pleased that our two upcoming events, in May and in June, will address two of those three subjects.

Our May 14 event, "Designing a Medicaid Expansion That is Fiscally Responsible," will feature officials from Arches Health Plan, the Utah Health Policy Project, and the Sutherland Institute. Register for the event at http://www.utahbreakfast.com/events/2015/5/14/utah-breakfast-club-may-2015

Our June event will focus on "What Does the Utah Public Lands Initiative Need to Succeed?" Register at http://utahbreakfast.com/events/2015/6/10/utah-breakfast-club-june-2015
